MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. ––– In a close battle up north, No. 30 Indiana defeated Central Michigan, 17-16, on tie-breaker criteria on Friday night.

The two teams split bouts won with Central Michigan tying the score at 16-16 in their win at heavyweight. The Hoosiers won the match as they had the advantage in combined points scored, 59-51.

With the win, Indiana moves to 3-0 on the season.

• No. 23 Jacob Moran (125) used two first period takedowns to go up 6-1 in an eventual 8-2 win by decision against Kaden Chianvre.
