Indiana’s Yunis and van Assendelft Set for NCAA Doubles Championships

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. –––– Indiana Men's Tennis' Facundo Yunis and Jip van Assendelft learned their tournament path for the NCAA Doubles Championships on Saturday afternoon.
The doubles duo will face Mario Martinez Serrano and Niccolo Baroni of Mississippi State to open tournament play.
The 2024-25 NCAA Division I Men's Singles and Doubles Championships will be held from Nov. 19-24 at the Hurd Tennis Center on the campus of Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
Yunis and van Assendelft qualified for their spot in the championships with their performance in the ITA South Sectional. They defeated Martinez Serrano and Baroni in the South Sectional to clinch their spot in the NCAA Doubles Championships.
They are one of four doubles duos from the Big Ten competing in the NCAA Doubles Championships. In the Singles Championships, the Big Ten will have eight players competing.
