
Indiana Takes Fourth at Navy Classic with Two Champions

ANNAPOLIS, Md. ––– No. 30 Indiana wrestled its way to fourth place at the Navy Classic on Saturday at the United States Naval Academy.
Indiana scored 94 team points on 15 guys competing. The Hoosiers had eight competitors finish on the podium.
No. 26 Angelo Rini (133) and No. 27 Jacob Bullock each won their respective brackets for their weight class.
KEY MOMENTS
• No. 26 Angelo Rini (133) earned an impressive 3-2 win by decision over No. 14 Kurt Phipps (Bucknell) in the championship match at 133 lbs.
• In Rini's run to a title, he outscored his opponents by a combined 27 points.
• No. 27 Jacob Bullock (285) did not give up a takedown in his championship match win over Harley Andrews (Nebraska), defeating him, 9-2.
