BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – After spending two weeks on the road, Indiana women's tennis fell, 4-2, against Memphis (6-3) at the IU Tennis Center on Thursday night.

The Tigers won the No. 1 doubles to take the first of three matches, before the Hoosiers battled back from behind to claim the doubles point.

Sarah L'Allier and Li Hsin Lin were all tied up, 4-4, midway through the match before they won 7-5.

Lara Schneider and Nicole Teodosescu stayed in the fight as they came back from a 5-4 deficit. The No. 2 doubles duo entered a tiebreaker to win the match, 7-6 (7-4).

Memphis won the first three singles matches in straight sets. Lara Schneider put up a strong fight at the No. 1 singles before dropping a close tiebreaker set.

Elisabeth Dunac put the Hoosiers on the board again after she won a hard fought match in three sets, before the Tigers clinched the win in the No. 6 singles.
