EVANSTON, Ill. ––– In the team's final Big Ten dual of the season, No. 17 Indiana lost at Northwestern, 19-18.
The loss takes the Hoosiers' record to 6-5 and they finish out the Big Ten dual schedule with a 3-5 mark.
KEY MOMENTS
• Northwestern opened the dual with a 7-0 lead, picking up wins at 125 and 133 lbs., by major decision and decision, respectively.
• Graduate student No. 23 Dan Fongaro (141) got Indiana on the board, defeating Kolby McClain by tech fall, 19-4 (6:52), to make the team score, 7-5.
• Graduate student No. 13 Graham Rooks (149) won a hard-fought match over Aiden Vandenbush by decision, 2-1, to give Indiana an 8-7 lead.
• Northwestern quickly took the lead back on a pin from No. 21 Trevor Chumbley, giving the Wildcats an intermission advantage of 13-8.
