Indiana Men’s Soccer Announces 2024 Signing Class

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Indiana men's soccer head coach Todd Yeagley announced Thursday (Feb. 8) the program's 2024 freshman signing class, consisting of nine student-athletes set to join the roster for the upcoming season.
"(I'm) really excited to announce our 2024 class," Yeagley said. "We have nine [newcomers]; three defenders, three midfielders, three attackers. All provide really good, immediate positional help for us. (I'm) excited for our fans and all the Hoosiers out there to watch this new, young group hit the field next fall."
Indiana has welcomed 11 total newcomers to its 2024 roster. Last week, the program announced the addition of two transfer student-athletes; Quinton Elliot, a productive wing back from Louisville, and Justin Weiss, a two-time first-team All-Big Ten performer from Northwestern.
Easton Bogard | Forward | Oak Park, Ill. | Chicago Fire
The No. 23-rated prospect in the Midwest region according to Top Drawer Soccer, Easton Bogard is a member of Chicago Fire Academy, with whom, in 2023, he was named to the Elite Academy League U17 and USYS National Championships U17 Best XI lists. Bogard was also a 2023 United Soccer Coaches All-American at Oak Park and River High School, where he set scoring records for a single season (33, 2023) and career (91). The IHSSCA Player of the Year appeared in the High School All-American Game.
Drew Gaydosh | Defender | Centerville, Ohio | Cincinnati United Premier
One of the top prep school defenders in the country, Drew Gaydosh was a two-time United Soccer Coaches All-American at Centerville High School. Over three seasons, Gaydosh helped Centerville keep 39 clean sheets over 64 matches, conceding 39 goals. He produced 23 goals, with 14 of those coming from headers off set pieces. Gaydosh was also a two-year captain for his club, Cincinnati United Premier, and spent time with FC Cincinnati Academy.
Charlie Heuer | Midfielder | Elmhurst, Ill. | Chicago Fire
Charlie Heuer is the No. 182-ranked prospect in the 2024 class according to Top Drawer Soccer as well as the No. 11 recruit in the Midwest region. Heuer has most recently spent time with Chicago Fire Academy following a stint with FC United, also within MLS NEXT. Last season, he was named the 2022-23 FC United Academy Player of the Year.
Miles Imparato | Midfielder | Tampa, Fla. | Chargers SC
Playing with Chargers SC in MLS NEXT, Miles Imparato is the No. 92 overall prospect, No. 8 Florida region product and No. 34 midfield talent in the 2024 class according to Top Drawer Soccer. Imparato is a two-time United Soccer Coaches Player of the Year nominee tied to earning All-America honors each of the last two seasons. During his youth career, he has received four invitations to the U.S. Youth National Team Identification Center.
Nolan Kinsella | Forward | Munster, Ind. | FC United
Nolan Kinsella is the No. 15-ranked prospect in the Great Lakes region according to Top Drawer Soccer after spending time with FC United and Indy Eleven academies – both in MLS NEXT – as well as Millennium Soccer Association early in his youth career. Kinsella was a standout player at Munster High School, totaling 73 goals and 30 assists in his career – including a school record 43 goals as a senior. A two-sport athlete, Kinsella also lettered in basketball.
Jack Lindimore | Defender | New Albany, Ohio | Columbus Crew
Jack Lindimore comes in as the No. 111-ranked prospect, No. 7 Great Lakes region prospect and No. 35 defender according to Top Drawer Soccer. An eight-year starter for Columbus Crew Academy, he captained the U19 team to a UPSL East Regional Championship last year. Lindimore has also spent time with Columbus Crew 2 and helped capture the club's first MLS NEXT Pro title in 2022.
Josh Maher | Defender | Caseyville, Ill. | St. Louis CITY SC
Josh Maher was originally a member of the 2023 signing class as a four-star recruit, the No. 35-ranked prospect in the country. The talented center-back deferred his enrollment to 2024 and will join the program from St. Louis CITY 2, which he helped win the Western Conference title in 2022. During his youth career, Maher captained St. Louis CITY's U17 team as swell as Saint Louis Scott Gallagher academy squads. Josh is the youngest brother of former IU men's soccer player Jack and Joey Maher. Jack (2018-19) now plays in Major League Soccer for Nashville SC, and Joey (2020-23) graduated from IU in December.
Michael Nesci | Forward | Chicago, Illinois | Chicago Fire
A four-star recruit, Top Drawer Soccer ranks Michael Nesci No. 99 in the 2024 class as well as No. 4 in the Midwest and No. 25 among forwards. Nesci is a member of Chicago Fire Academy and was an MLS NEXT All-Star in 2023. Over the last two years, Nesci has appeared in 25 matches for Chicago Fire II in MLS NEXT Pro.
Drew Thompson | Midfielder | Brownsburg, Ind. | Indy Eleven
One of two Indiana natives joining the program, Drew Thompson has spent his youth career with Indy Eleven. During his time with the academy, Thompson helped the club capture back-to-back USL Academy Cup Championships in 2021 and 2022. Thompson is a two-sport high school athlete, lettering in basketball at Brownsburg.
