Senior Day Set For Regular Season Finale Against Maryland

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Three seniors will be honored as No. 14 Indiana closes out the regular season against Maryland on Sunday at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall at 3 p.m. ET.

Maryland secured a 79-63 win over Wisconsin at Xfinity Center on Thursday night. Graduate student guard Jakia Brown-Turner led the way with 18 points while junior guard Shyanne Sellers and sophomore guard Bri McDaniel each added 16. Sellers averages a team-high 15.4 points and 5.9 rebounds per game while Brown-Turner adds 13.7 and a team-high 6.2 boards per outing. The Terps are shooting 44.7 percent from the floor and averaging 78.8 points per game.

- Three seniors will be honored in their final regular season game at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall on Sunday. Five year players Mackenzie Holmes and Arielle Wisne along with two year player Sara Scalia will be honored in a pregame ceremony.
- Indiana picked up the series sweep of Northwestern in an 84-64 victory at Welsh-Ryan Arena on Tuesday night. Holmes led the way with 28 points and nine rebounds while senior guard Sydney Parrish recorded her third double-double of the season with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
- The Hoosiers will go for the season sweep of the Terps on Sunday. They picked up their first ever win at Xfinity Center on Jan. 31 when it defeated Maryland 87-73. Holmes (23 points, 10 rebounds) and Scalia (22 points) combined for 47 points as sophomore guard Yarden Garzon added 11 points for the Hoosiers.
- An opportunity awaits the Hoosiers on Sunday to finish the regular season undefeated at home for the second time in as many seasons. With a win over No. 4 Iowa on Thursday, the Hoosiers improved to a perfect 14-0 at home this season. They are tied for the 8th longest home winning streak in the country and the longest in the Big Ten. - IU currently owns the nation's best shooting percentages, from the floor (51.8 percent) and 3-point line (41.1 percent). They have shot 50 percent or better from the floor on 14 occasions, shooting 60 percent or better four times this season. From the arc, IU has hit 10 or more 3-pointers in 11 times this season and has knocked down 218 3-pointers, which is fifth in a single season. The current record stands at 259 (2013-14).
