Indiana Men’s Tennis Set to Host Illinois State

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. ––––– After a break from matches last week, Indiana will play their first match of the month against Illinois State.

The Match will take place on Friday, March 8, at 4 p.m. at the IU Tennis Center.

Illinois State currently holds a 9-6 record on the season, with their last match being a loss to UIC this past Sunday, 4-3.

In doubles play, Ilya Tiraspolsky and Michael Andre have put together a fantastic season together so far. The duo currently hold a 7-1 record and have earned a No. 48 ranking in the most recent ITA doubles rankings.

Sophomore Sam Landau landed at No. 63 in the most recent ITA singles rankings. Landau owns a 6-2 record in singles play this season.
