Indiana Tops Butler in Wednesday Sweep

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. –––– Indiana Men's Tennis bounced back in a big way Wednesday afternoon, topping Butler, 4-0, at the IU Tennis Center.
In doubles play, Ilya Tiraspolsky and Jagger Saylor would put the Hoosiers in a position to secure the doubles point with a win at No. 2 doubles, 6-4. Sam Landau and Nikola Kolyachev would follow up with a win at No. 3 doubles, 6-2, to secure the lead for Indiana heading into singles play.
In singles play, consecutive wins from Deacon Thomas, Sam Landau, and Ilya Tiraspolsky on No. 6, 2, and 5 singles would secure the match win for Indiana.
With the win, the Hoosiers now hold a 14-8 record on the season.
Indiana will be back in action on Friday when it hosts Nebraska for a 4 p.m. match at home.
