We Fly Challenge: Throwers, Pole Vaulters earn Five Top-10 Finishes on Day One

MUNCIE, Ind. – The throwers and vaulters opened up the weekend at Ball State's We Fly Challenge in the discus and the pole vault.
Nathan Stone and Tyler Carrel tied for first in the Pole Vault after they cleared a height of 5.00m/16-4.75.
Freshman Drew Franklin achieved a personal best in the discus event with a mark of 46.64m/153-0 to finish fifth overall. Hunter Smith earned a top-10 finish coming in seventh with a throw of 45.33m/148-9.
Up next, the throwers will continue the weekend with the hammer throw while the sprints and jump squads begin their weekend.
