
No. 14 Hoosiers Beat No. 13 Michigan, 10-7, In Regular Season Finale

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Sophomore Grace Klingler had a hat trick as No. 14 Indiana upended No. 13 Michigan on the road at Canham Natatorium to close out the 2024 regular season on Saturday.

KEY MOMENTS
- Sophomore Nicole Tyner tallied up the first two Hoosier goals to keep the game even through the first four minutes. In the final seconds of the first, Klingler gave Indiana (20-8) a 3-2 edge.
- Klingler added her second goal of the day at the 3:13 mark of the second quarter to go up by a pair of goals. The Wolverines answered less than a minute later but senior Kallie White struck as the buzzer sounded in the first half, as she launched on a shot on an assist by freshman goalie Audrey Cox.
- Indiana held Michigan (20-10) scoreless through the majority of the third quarter as it scored four unanswered goals, including a pair from junior Skylar Kidd, to take a 9-3 lead.
- Michigan attempted a comeback in the fourth as it put up three goals, but Klingler helped keep the Hoosiers on top, scoring with 3:20 remaining.
NOTES
- The Hoosiers knock off the Wolverines for the first time since 2015 and the first time in Ann Arbor since 2014.
- The victory pushes Indiana's season record to 20-8, marking its first 20-win season since 2018.
- Klinger recorded her first hat trick of the season and finished with a team-high three goals.
- Senior Kallie White and Kidd each had four points in the victory, both adding two goals and two assists.
- Tyner also chipped in a pair of goals while junior Grace Hathaway added one.
- Senior Zoe Crouch led Indiana with three steals.
- Cox played all 32 minutes in the cage, recording 12 saves in the outing along with a pair of assists and a steal.
