Hoosiers Set for Last Chance Olympic Team Trials Qualifier

FAIRFAX, Va. –––– Three Indiana wrestlers will compete in the Last Chance Olympic Team Trials Qualifier this weekend at James Robinson Secondary School this weekend.
Indiana's Henry Porter, Derek Gilcher and Jacob Bullock will all compete at the Last Chance Olympic Team Trials Qualifier. Additionally, two athletes from Indiana's Olympic Regional Training Center (Indiana RTC) will compete ––– Devan Turner and Isaiah White.
The event will serve as the final opportunity for prospective wrestlers to earn a spot at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials. Only the champion at each weight class will get to compete at the Olympic Team Trials.
The Olympic Team Trials will take place from April 19-20 at the Bryce Jordan Center in State College, Pa.
All Hoosiers and Indiana RTC athletes will participate in freestyle competition.
Turner is the No. 3 seed at 57 kg and Bullock is the No. 2 seed at 125 kg.
Porter will compete at 65 kg while Gilcher and White will wrestle at 74 kg.
Greco-Roman and Women's Freestyle matches will begin and conclude on Saturday while the Men's Freestyle competition will take place on Sunday.
