ITA Regionals Up Next For Indiana Women’s Tennis

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Eight Indiana women's tennis players will compete at the 2025 ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville beginning on Thursday, Oct. 16.
Freshman Amiea Sorey, Hi'ilani Williams and Mansi Vayala along with sophomore Nicole Sifuentes and juniors Magdalena Swierczynska, Li Hsin Lin, Elisabeth Dunac, Chase Boyer and senior Nicole Teodosescu will all compete in singles and doubles action at the event.
The match kicks off on Thursday morning with Dunac, Hsin Lin and Vadyala facing off in singles starting at 9 a.m. Other match times can be found here.
Indiana has already racked up a pair of Big Ten weekly honors with Ameia Sorey winning Big Ten Freshman of the Week (Sept. 17) and Hi'Iani Williams securing Player of the Week (Oct. 6)
Each of the 2025 ITA Men's and Women's Division I Regional Championships will have a draw size of the following, (Singles: Minimum of 64 Main Draw, Minimum of 64 Qualifying) (Doubles: Minimum of 32 Main Draw, Minimum of 32 Qualifying). From this, the two singles finalists from each region (26) will qualify for the NCAA Singles Championship. Meanwhile, the doubles champion from each region (13) will qualify for the NCAA Doubles Championship.
