BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana volleyball team (21-5, 12-4 B1G) is set to close out the regular season home slate at Wilkinson Hall this weekend. It will welcome Rutgers and No. 1 Nebraska for the final two scheduled contests in Bloomington this year. The Hoosiers will honor four seniors on Senior Night following their contest against the Huskers on Saturday (Nov. 22) evening.
IU is coming off a wildly successful season. It picked up wins over Oregon and Maryland to match single-season program records for regular season wins (12) and Big Ten wins (12). IU hit over .300 in the win over the Ducks before breaking out to a spectacular .456 hitting percentage in a sweep of Maryland.
Freshman outside hitter Jaidyn Jager continues to make her case as the Big Ten Freshman of the Year. She averaged 4.43 kills per set and 2.29 digs per set in the pair of victories. On the weekend, she hit .396 with just six attacking errors. Jager recorded her fifth double-double of the season against the Ducks with 15 kills and 10 digs.
History remains on the line this weekend. IU is one win away from breaking a single-season program record for Big Ten victories. The Hoosiers matched the mark (12 – 1995) on Sunday but can take it outright with a victory over Rutgers. IU will welcome No. 1 Nebraska on Saturday, chasing the first win in program history over the nation's top-ranked program.
Both matches have a first serve of 6 p.m. at Wilkinson Hall on B1G+. Senior Day ceremonies will take place after the game on Saturday to honor Candela Alonso-Corcelles, Avry Tatum, Jessica Smith and Madi Sell.

Stat and Trends
• Freshman outside hitter Jaidyn Jager has recorded at least nine kills in 10-straight matches – dating back to October 16th. In nine of those 10 contests, she's been in double figures. Since IU's win at Penn State (Nov. 2), Jager has had at least 14 kills in every match.
• IU has gone 38-consecutive matches with at least one service ace. Even without an army of top-spin jump serves this year, the Hoosiers have done a great job at getting opposing teams out of system. IU has gone for 10 aces in three of the last eight matches.
• The Hoosiers have won 21-straight contests against unranked opponents in Bloomington. That streak dates all the way back to November of 2023. IU will get the chance to extend that run on Thursday as Rutgers visits town. A win there would also be the 10th of the season.
Notable
CHASING 13: The Hoosiers will have a chance at program history this weekend in Bloomington. With just one victory, they will break a single-season school record for Big Ten wins (13) in a season. IU matched the program record (12) on Sunday against Maryland - winning 12 conference games for the first time since 1995.
BALANCE ON THE PINS: Indiana is the only Power Four program who has three different players averaging at least 3.20 kills per set this season. On 10 different occasions this year, all three of IU's pin hitters have gone for 10+ kills each. Senior outside hitter Candela Alonso-Corcelles leads the team with 3.55 kills per set.
CANDE IS A WINNER: Senior outside hitter Candela Alonso-Corcelles has been a big winner during her time in Bloomington. The Hoosiers have 73 overall wins and 40 in conference play since she joined the team in 2022. She's just two wins away from breaking the program's all-time wins record.
HOME SWEET HOME: Indiana is 37-15 within the confines of Wilkinson Hall since the beginning of 2022. In that same stretch, IU is 23-2 against unranked conference foes on its home court. The Hoosiers need one win this weekend to record a third-straight 10-win home season - for the first time since 1998-2000.
HOT OFFENSE: The Hoosiers are on pace to break a single-season program record for hitting percentage. Through 26 games, IU is hitting a blistering .289 as a team. That includes a .456 percentage in last Sunday's win over Maryland - the highest single game hitting percentage against a Big Ten team since 1991.
VIC STEPPING UP: When freshman middle blocker Victoria Gray gets the ball, she's been especially lethal. In IU's last five home matches, Gray is hitting .459 out of the middle. That includes errorless performances against Oregon and Maryland last weekend where she had 14 kills on 22 swings.
J MONEY: Freshman outside hitter Jaidyn Jager has been extremely impactful this season. She's one of two Power Four freshmen to average 3.50 kills per set, 2.20 digs per set and 0.52 blocks per set this season. On top of that, she's passing a 2.12 with a 52% good pass rating on 538 attempts this year.
POWER DUO: IU is 24-8 over the last three years when senior outside hitter Candela Alonso-Corcelles and senior opposite Avry Tatum each record 10 kills in the same match. It happened in both wins last weekend. On the season, the Hoosiers are 5-1 in conference play in 2025 when this occurs.
