BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Hoosiers are back at home in Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall on Wednesday night when it faces Western Michigan at 6 p.m. ET.

Western Michigan is coming off an overtime loss to Roosevelt prior to the Thanksgiving break (Nov. 25). They are led by De'Ahna Richardson's 12.3 points and 6.3 rebounds per game but missed the contest against Roosevelt. Sophomore guard Kailey Starks adds 10.3 points and 5.0 rebounds a game for the Broncos.

- Indiana traveled to Fort Myers, Florida to play three games and finished 2-1 on the week. It started with a 84-62 win over FGCU on Nov. 25 before splitting games at the Geico Coconut Hoops Blue Heron Division where IU defeated Gonzaga to advance to the championship game. The Hoosiers met No. 10/12 Iowa State and ultimately fell short in a high-scoring affair, 106-95.
- Senior guard Shay Ciekzi continues her senior season tear through the first eight games of the season. She is averaging a Big Ten leading 24.3 points per game and also ranks sixth in the nation. The Buffalo, N.Y. native is currently holding a 50-40-90 average from the field. She shoots 53.9 percent from the floor, 45.5 percent from the 3-point line and 92.3 percent at the free throw line. She is third in the Big Ten in scoring. Ciezki was named the Big Ten Player of the Week (Nov. 10) and to the honor roll (Dec. 1).
- Freshman forward Maya Makalusky had the best game of her young career on Friday against Gonzaga where she scored a career-high 10 points and six rebounds. She scored nine of her 10 points in the second half with five of those in the fourth quarter in clutch situations. She followed that up with a three 3-pointer effort for nine points in the Coconut Hoops Blue Heron Championship game against No. 10/12 Iowa State.
- Junior forward Edessa Noyan made her first appearance in the starting lineup in Sunday's game against No. 10/12 Iowa State. She tied her season-high eight points and set a season-high eight rebounds in the effort.
- Wednesday's game will begin a stretch of six of the next seven games at home. After Saturday's visit to Illinois, IU will host the next five games at home beginning with ULM on Dec. 11 and will run through New Year's Day.
