Big Ten Play Resumes Monday Against Minnesota

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana women's basketball gets into the meat of the Big Ten schedule when it tips off against Minnesota on Monday night. Game time is set for 6 p.m. ET.

Minnesota capped off non-conference action with a 68-43 win over Drake on Dec. 21 behind a 18-point, 11 rebound double-double from graduate student center Grace Grocholski. She averages a team-high 13.3 points per game while shooting 52.7 percent from the floor. Sophomore guard Tori McKinney adds 12.8 points per game. The Gophers started off Big Ten play in a two overtime loss against Maryland at home but have won three-straight since.

- Four players scored in double figures as the Hoosiers capped off non-con action with an 11-1 record in a 71-44 win over Western Carolina. Senior guard Shay Ciezki led the way with 17 points while redshirt sophomore guard Lenée Beaumont added 14 points. IU combined to shoot 50 percent from the floor for the sixth time this season.
- Indiana capped off a perfect 8-0 record at home in non-conference action this season. During that span, the Hoosiers are averaging 74.4 points per game on its home court, allowing just 53.0 (+21.4). They are shooting 48.8 percent on Branch McCracken Court and 37.9 percent from beyond the arc. IU currently ranks eighth in attendance in NCAA Division I this season (7,556 per game).
- Senior guard Shay Ciekzi enters conference play as the league's leading scorer and one of the natin's best shooters. She is averaging a Big Ten leading 24.3 points per game and ranks third in the nation in scoring. The Buffalo, N.Y. native is currently holding a 50-40-90 average from the field. She shoots 55.8 percent from the floor, 46.3 percent from the 3-point line and 94.6 percent at the free throw line. Ciezki is also leading the Big Ten in the most improved category, adding 12.5 points to her scoring average in 2025-26.
