Indiana Men’s Tennis Falls to Boise State

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. –––– Indiana Men's Tennis suffered their first loss of the season on Wednesday evening, falling to Boise State, 4-3, at the Boas Indoor Tennis Center.

For the tenth consecutive match, Indiana would take the doubles point. Michael Andre & Jip van Assendelft would earn the first win of doubles play for IU at No. 1 doubles, 6-3. Braeden Gelletich & Ben Pomeranets would follow up with a win at No. 3 doubles, 7-5, to secure the lead for Indiana heading into singles play.

In singles play, Boise State would secure wins at No. 1, 2, 4, and 5 singles to clinch the match victory.

With the loss, Indiana moves to 9-1 on the season.

IU will be back in action on Sunday, Feb. 23, for a match against Memphis at the IU Tennis Center. The match will begin at 12 p.m.
