Indiana Men’s Tennis to Play Two Matches This Week

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. –––– Indiana Men's Tennis is back in action this week, playing one road match and one home match.
On Wednesday, Feb 27. Indiana travels to Boise, Idaho, for a match against Boise State. Indiana will continue the week with a match back at the IU Tennis Center on Sunday, Feb. 23, against Memphis.
Boise State currently holds a 6-1 record, with a notable win over No. 22 Michigan State, 4-3.
Memphis currently sits at 5-7 on the season, with their last match being a 4-0 win over New Orleans.
In singles play, sophomore Ben Pomeranets has put together strong performances throughout the season so far. Pomeranets currently holds an undefeated 7-0 record in singles play.
Freshman Braeden Gelletich has also been strong in singles play, holding an 8-1 record through nine matches.
In doubles play, Matteo Antonescu and Sam Scherer have been a reliable duo, putting together a 6-1 record so far this season.
