BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Senior Skylar Kidd and junior Grace Hathaway had two goals each but No. 10 Indiana couldn't keep up with No. 5 Cal in a 19-10 MPSF loss at Counsilman-Billingley Aquatic Center.

KEY MOMENTS

Senior Sophia Sollie got Indiana on the board first in the opening quarter, as it took advantage of a pair of 6-on-5 opportunities to maintain a 3-2 lead with 2:44 remaining. But Cal got the last goal in the frame to take a 4-3 edge.
The Hoosiers were outscored 3-0 in the final 4:10 of the second as the Bears took an 8-5 lead at the break.
Seniors Olivia Stark and Skylar Kidd added goals for Indiana in the third as IU kept it within three. California had two goals late in the frame and built a six-goal edge, 13-7.
Klingler, Kidd and senior Grace Hathaway each posted a goal in the fourth.

NOTES

Seven different Hoosiers scored goals in the contest behind a pair each from Kidd and Klingler.
Kidd now has a team-high 55 goals on the season, setting a new single season high in goals scored in her career. She also added a team-high three assists.
Goalies Jasmine Higgs and Audrey Cox split time in the cage and combined for seven saves.
Cox led the way with a pair of steals.
Indiana moved to 16-8 on the season and 0-4 in MPSF play.
