Indiana Wrestling Finishes Competition at 2025 U.S. Open

LAS VEGAS, Nev. –––– Indiana Wrestling had a handful of wrestlers compete in the 2025 U.S. Open at the Senior and U20 levels over the weekend.

The tournaments took place at The Expo at World Market Center Las Vegas from Friday to Sunday (April 25-27).

The Hoosiers had six current wrestlers, two signees and one alum compete in the tournament.

Lucas Peters, Aidan Torres, Chris Crawford, Ryan Garvick and Chase Leech all competed at the U20 level. All competed in both freestyle and Greco Roman except for Torres and Crawford who just did freestyle.

Hoosier alum Brayton Lee competed at the senior level in freestyle.

Incoming freshmen Jackson Blum and Carson Thomas competed at U20 Freestyle.

Lee advanced past the first two rounds before going to the consolation bracket. He worked his way through it, earning sixth place and All-American status at 70 kg.
