SAINT LOUIS, Mo. – Indiana women's soccer will travel to their first road match of the year to play Saint Louis on Thursday, Aug. 28 at Robert R. Hermann Stadium in Saint Louis, Mo.
ABOUT THE COACHES
ABOUT THE BILIKENS
This will be the fifth meeting all-time between the programs with the Billikens leading the series 2-1-1.
The Billikens look to continue their longstanding success as head coach Katie Shields looks to lead her team to their 10th straight season of double figure wins.
LAST TIME OUT
The Hoosiers will travel for two road games after their 1-0 shutout over Ball State.
The first half was highlighted by the defenses. The Hoosier defense held the Cardinals to only three shots and zero on goal.
In the 62nd minute IU was awarded a corner kick. Senior forward Marisa Grzesiak played the ball into the box. Sophomore forward Aleyna Quinn found the ball for a header to give IU a 1-0 lead.
Ball State would make a final push but could not convert on three shot opportunities. Senior goalkeeper Dani Jacobson tagged two saves to help the defense shut out the Cardinals.
UP NEXT
The Hoosiers will stay on the road as they travel to Louisville, Ky. to play Bellarmine. The game is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 31, with kickoff at 1 p.m. ET.
