Hoosiers Fall at Rutgers

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Indiana women's soccer fell to Rutgers in a 2-0 shutout on Sunday afternoon.

With the loss, the Hoosiers record moves to 3-4-2 overall and 0-2-1 in Big Ten play.

KEY MOMENTS

The Hoosier back line made a big impact in the first half. Senior defender Olivia Albert made a save in the ninth minute to keep Rutgers from scoring early.
Rutgers opened the scoring in the 21^st minute to take a 1-0 lead into halftime.
The Scarlet Knight scored again in the 50^th minute giving them the 2-0 lead.

NOTABLE

Seven Hoosiers recorded a shot: Ella Stanley 2, Kennedy Neighbors, Marisa Grzesiak, Haden Vlcek, Maggie Ledwith, Paige Droner
Five of IU's eight shot attempts were on goal.
IU led the game in corner kicks 6-5
