Indiana Hosts No. 9/9 Michigan In White Out

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana kicks off a weekend homestand when it first welcomes No. 9/9 Michigan to the Hall on Thursday night. Tipoff is slated for 7 p.m. ET on Peacock.

Their guard-heavy play relies on sophomores Olivia Olson's 18.1 points and 5.7 rebounds per game while Syla Swords ass 13.7 points per game. - The Hoosiers couldn't overcome a strong second quarter by Purdue as it fell 80-69 in Mackey Arena on Sunday. Senior guard Shay Ciezki finished one point off her season-high with 37 points by shooting 61.1 percent from the floor and 71.4 percent from the 3-point line.
- Indiana has shot and connected on a high volume of 3-pointers in its last three games, where they have combined for 30 total triples in In that span, Ciezki has hit 17 of the 30 3-pointers while freshman forward Maya Makalusky has added seven. In the three-game span, they are also shooting 53.6 percent from the arc. For the season, IU is shooting 38.2, which ranks second in the Big Ten. Ciezki leads the way with 54 made triples while redshirt sophomore guard Lenée Beaumont has knocked down 35. Freshman forward Maya Makaluksy has connected on 35 so far this season.
- Senior guard Shay Ciekzi continues to be one of the nation's best scorers. She is the Big Ten's leading scorer (and fourth nationally) with 23.6 points per game also ranks fourth in the nation in scoring (496 points) and is five points shy of entering the top 20 in single season scoring at Indiana. She is part of the elusive 50/40/90 club, as she shoots 53.7 percent from the floor, 45.8 percent from the 3-point line and 91.1 percent at the free throw line. She's one of six players nationally who holds a 50/40/90 percentage.
