BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana women's soccer looks to get back in the win column as they are set to take on Ohio. The match will be the second road contest for the Hoosiers, playing in Athens, Ohio on Sunday, September 6, at 1 pm.
ABOUT THE COACHES
ABOUT THE BOBCATS
Ohio comes into Sunday's match following their second loss of the season to Pittsburgh. They hold a 2-2 overall record with wins against UIC, Mercyhurst. The Bobcats are led by Jaimason Brooker, Meaghan Cochrane, and Camille Francis with two goals scored apiece.
Last Time Out
The Hoosiers previously returned home as they played host to Saint Louis last Sunday afternoon.
Indiana started the first half strong, holding the Billikens to two shot attempts and a 0-0 draw heading into the break.
In the 30th minute forward Emily Graham had a run out opportunity for the Hoosiers. her shot attempt was just wide of the left post, keeping the game tied at zero.
Saint Louis scored the first goal of the match by Leah Simpson in the 49th minute.
Shortly after, forward Amaya Falzarano made an attempt on the left side of the box, but was saved by the goalkeeper.
The Billikens followed with a second goal by 79th minute from Audrey Smith.
The Hoosiers were unable to respond, finishing the match in a 0-2 defeat.

Bella Haggerty, Maggie Ledwith, and Kennedy Neighbors tie as the leading goal scorers, tallying two apiece through the first four matches. Aleyna Quinn and Piper Coffield follow each scoring one goal.
Ledwith and Neighbors lead the Hoosiers in total points with six and five, respectively. Haggerty follows behind with four along with Quinn and Coffield who has two each. Jenna Chatterton, Emma Ehret, Amaya Falzarano, Grace Hamm, and Ella Stanley also have one point apiece for the Hoosiers.
17 Hoosiers have recorded a shot this season. Ledwith leads the way with 14 shot attempts, followed by Neighbors and Hamm with nine and eight, respectively. Haggerty, Coffield, Quinn, Chatterton, and Stanley have added four shots apiece, with Falzarano, Murphy, Graham and Fishel each recording three.

IUWS will play their second of back-to-back road matches as they begin conference play on the road. They first start their conference slate at Nebraska on Thursday, September 10th before returning home the following weekend.
