No. 6 Hoosiers Host Denver in adidas/IU Credit Union Classic Finale

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — No. 6-ranked Indiana men's soccer (4-0-1, 0-0-0 B1G) welcomes Denver (1-3-1, 0-0-0 Summit) to Jerry Yeagley Field at Armstrong Stadium Monday night in the finale of the adidas/IU Credit Union Classic.
Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET, and tickets are on sale here. IU staff, faculty and students get in free with a valid Crimson Card ID. Fans unable to attend can watch the match via the B1G+ digital platform.
Monday night is International Night at Bill Armstrong Stadium. Indiana Soccer and the Office of International Services are teaming up to welcome international students to IU with a pregame tailgate, with free pizza and prizes available.
KICKING OFF
• The Hoosiers – unbeaten through five matches – aim to keep rolling against a Denver team coming off its first win of the season, a 3-0 result against Tulsa. It's been a surprise start for the Pioneers, who have appeared in the NCAA Tournament in each of the last eight seasons as well as 12 of the last 13. They eliminated IU in the 2024 Sweet 16 on their way to their second NCAA College Cup appearance.
• Indiana has not allowed a goal from open play through five matches (450 minutes) this season, its lone concessions coming from a penalty and a free kick. IU has earned clean sheets in three of its five matches, against Evansville, Butler and Cal Poly.
• Monday's match marks Indiana's final tune-up before Big Ten Conference play, as the Hoosiers travel to play Michigan Friday (Sept. 11) night.
• A win Monday would mark Indiana's 850th victory all-time, the quickest ascent to 850 wins in NCAA history (54 seasons).

• Head coach Jamie Franks leads Denver in his 12th season and comes into the match with a 137-49-37 career record.
SERIES HISTORY
• Monday's meeting marks Indiana's first hosting duties in the all-time series with Denver. The Hoosiers hold a slight 2-1-0 advantage in the three matches since 2011.
• Their most famous matchup was the last one, as Denver hosted the Hoosiers in the 2024 NCAA Tournament Third Round. Denver's ninth-minute goal sent the Pioneers through in their 1-0 victory, a game with only seven shots between the two sides.
