Big Ten Wrestling Championships Media FAQ

Credentials
There will be two locations for credential pickup. Friday March 3 from 10:30AM-2:30PM at the North End Zone entrance to Memorial Stadium. This is also the entrance to get to the coaches meeting. Coaches will be available following their 12PM coaches meeting, which will last approximately 30-45 minutes. After 2:30, credential pickup will continue at the main ticket office (West entrance to Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall, across from Memorial Stadium) until the end of the business day.
Saturday and Sunday credential pickup will be at will call at the South entrance to Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. On Saturday that will open at 8:00 AM and Sunday it will be open at 9:30AM.
Brackets/Live Scoring
Live scoring and updated brackets will be available at TrackWrestling.com. Hard copies of updated brackets will be available in the Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall press room after each session. For coaches and other athletics staff members, brackets will be updated and available in the coaches’ hospitality room. The updated bracket will also be available on the Big Ten Wrestling Championships Central page on the wrestling page on IUHoosiers.com.
Interviews
Media interviews will be coordinated by each school’s respective SID. A mixed zone for media/student-athlete interviews will be located near the southeast corner of competition floor, next to the entrance leading to the press room. The media room on court level of Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall is also available for interviews.
The Big Ten Wrestling coaches will have a media mix/availability on Friday, March 3 in the Henke Hall of Champions immediately following the coaches’ meeting. Hard copies of the initial brackets will also be available to coaches and media alike.
The Henke Hall of Champions is located in the North End Zone of Memorial Stadium, the East entrance of the archway (marked “Athletics”, not “Football). Parking in that area is as available.
Media Room
Indiana’s press room, located at court level near the southeast exit, will serve primarily as the photo/video workroom for the weekend. Photographers and videographers will have assigned seating at the tables along the north and south walls of the room. Team weekend notes and media guides will be located on tables along the East wall. Due to limited spacing in the work room, all non-photo/video media members will have their designated workspace at their assigned seat in the arena.
There won’t be any formal press conferences, but a backdrop will be available for recording interviews outside of the media room.
Hospitality
Food and drinks will be available for media in the press room. The following are the times for meals.
• Saturday, March 4: Breakfast will be available from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Dinner will be available from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Snacks and beverages will be available throughout the day.
• Sunday, March 5: Lunch will be available from 10:00 a.m. to Noon. Snacks and beverages will be available throughout the day.
Parking
There will be no charge for parking. Gate 4 is the best entrance for parking, as it will be closer to the West and South entrances. Additional parking can be found through Gate 14 off of Fee Lane. (View Parking Map)
