Dave Hohnke

Dave Hohnke has been associated with the IU Men’s Golf program since 2005, and officially began his duties as the team’s volunteer coach at the start of the 2010-11 season. In addition to his coaching duties, Hohnke is the team’s club fitter and assists in the organization of the annual Hoosier Invitational each spring.
Hohnke started clubmaking in 1987 and has been a professional clubmaker since 1998. He is a member of the Golf Clubmakers Association, Professional Clubmakers Society and the International Clubmakers Guild. Regarded as the best club fitter in the state of Indiana, Hohnke is also certified as a golf equipment professional.
Hohnke graduated from IU in 1976 with an A.B. in English, Psychology and Philosophy.
