Morgan DePlanty joined the IU Sports Medicine staff in July 2021. She primarily covers softball and men’s tennis.
Morgan is originally from Marshall, Indiana and earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Purdue University in 2017. In 2019 she earned her Master of Science in Athletic Training from Illinois State University where she worked primarily with their football and softball programs. Following Illinois State University, Morgan worked as an assistant athletic trainer at Morehead State University with their women’s basketball program. In October 2019, Morgan returned to Illinois State University to work as a full time assistant athletic trainer with their softball program.
Morgan is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and is Graston M1 certified.
Morgan now resides in Bloomington, Indiana.
