Graham Ludmer begins his fourth season on the IU rowing staff in 2025.
Ludmer spent his first two seasons on staff as the team’s boatman and director of operations. Ahead of the 2024 season, he added the assistant coach title. Ludmer primarily works with the novice crews.
"Graham has been great working as a boatman for us the past two years, and I am excited to add novice coaching to his responsibilities as well," IU head rowing coach Steve Peterson said when the promotion was announced. "Graham has over six years of coaching experience at the collegiate and club levels, and he even spent a year coaching in Australia. That experience is going to be invaluable in helping to teach the sport of rowing to the next group of great Hoosier rowers.”
During his first season as a coach, Ludmer’s Novice Eight crew totaled six head-to-head victories, and the Hoosiers returned to the NCAA Championships for the second consecutive season.
