Jessica Novack MS, LAT, ATC joined the IU sports medicine staff in the fall of 2016, working solely with the women’s rowing team.
Jessica, originally from Indiana, graduated from The University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Science in athletic training degree in 2013. During her time at The University of Iowa she was a member of the varsity rowing team for 4 years where she was named an All American. Following undergrad, Jessica went on to earn her Master’s degree in athletic training from Indiana University in 2015 where she worked primarily with the women’s water polo team. She was fortunate enough to travel to the National Championships with water polo in 2014 where the Hoosiers finished 7thin the country. While at IU, she focused her thesis research project on different methods to increase hamstring flexibility. After graduating, Jessica worked at Elon University in North Carolina for one year. During her time at Elon, she worked with football, women’s soccer, softball, cheer and cross country.
Jessica is happy to be back at her alma mater working with a sport that she loves. She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) and currently resides in Bloomington, IN.
