Senior Linebacker John Pannozzo
On the sell-out crowd at today's game:
JP: "I want to thank the crowd and everyone that came to the game. It was great, especially when the defense is out there and they make a lot of noise. It makes it really tough for their offense. It helped us out a lot today, and I thought that they did a great job."
On what the team will do this week to prepare for Michigan State:
JP: "We'll do what we do every week whether we win or lose. Watch the film, see what we did well, see the mistakes, learn from them and move on. This game is in the books and now we need to look to Michigan State. We still have four games left, and we are just going to keep playing hard."
Sophomore Cornerback Tracy Porter
On his ability to make big plays on defense:
TP: "It's just the will and determination to make a play happen for your team. If you have those two things, then I believe that you can make anything happen on the field."
Freshman Wide Receiver James Hardy:
On Ohio State's tough defense:
JH: "It was frustrating, but for the most part, I think that we kept our poise. We just need to come back tomorrow and work even harder. We have to be able to move the ball by running and throwing it."
Sophomore Quarterback Blake Powers
On the team's overall performance:
BP: "We played hard and we didn't quit, but there are obviously things we need to fix offensively. [Ohio State] has a good defense, and they played hard. They had a real good scheme and their coaches did a good job with their game plan. We have to make some adjustments for other teams that will play us like [Ohio State] did."
On what the team will take away from today's game:
BP: "We just have to get better if we want to be able to compete against teams like [Ohio State]. The only way to do that is to keep working hard everyday. We learned that we are just as good as anybody that we play, but we just have to perform on game day."
