On coming out after halftime:
TH: "We knew we would get the ball in the third quarter, and they would get the wind. We thought we had the advantage because the wind was not too much a factor of the kicking game. They stopped our first drive, got good field position and made personnel adjustment. Their personnel adjustment kept us out of a personnel group that we had some success with. We did not adjust to it very well. We tried some other things but we matched up better against the other personnel group."
On the onside kick in the fourth quarter after closing to 34-21:
TH: "We took a calculated risk at that point even though there were nine minutes left in the fourth quarter. We were still down a couple touchdowns, and I wanted to get the ball back, seize the momentum and maybe we could steal the game. If we get the onside kick, it works, but it backfired. Not only did they get the ball, but we also get a penalty on top of it. We thought it was the right move at the time but obviously it did not work."
On the passing game:
TH: "We did not have a great day as a group with our receiving core. The group has been one of our strengths and it needs to stay that way. In the first half, we ran the ball better which we really should have opened things up being 14-7. I thought it could have been 21-7. We needed to come out with the same attitude for 30 minutes and play harder and tougher. They did it and we didn't."
On attitude of the locker room at halftime:
TH: "The locker room was electric. We could not wait to get back on the field. I have not seen a team more excited, and we did not have to make many adjustments. If they would have said take five minutes and come back and play, we would have been ready. We felt good coming out of the locker room. We knew it was going to be a 30-minute battle."
