UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Indiana University wrestling team (5-3, 0-1 Big Ten) fell victim to #1 Penn State (3-0, 1-0 Big Ten), 52-0, in front of a sold-out crowd inside Rec Hall (6,152).
Eighth-ranked heavyweight Adam Chalfant posted a first-period takedown and added an escape in the second stanza to hold a 3-1 lead entering the third period. A pair of takedowns for Penn State's Jon Gingrich in the final frame resulted in a 6-5 win, however, handing Chalfant just his second loss this season.
