Hoosiers' Sunday Plans: Three Duals, One Day

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Sunday will be anything but a day of rest for Hoosier Wrestling this week, traveling down to North Carolina for three duals in one day. Indiana is set to face North Carolina State (4-7), VMI (5-7) and Gardner-Webb (5-10).
The Hoosiers (8-7) will face NC State at 11:30 a.m. at Cardinal Gibbons High School, followed immediately by a dual with VMI. Indiana then makes the short trip to Boiling Springs, N.C., for a 7 p.m. nightcap against the GWU Bulldogs. Live Stats

NCAA COACHES PANEL RANKINGS & RPI RELEASED
The NCAA released updated Coaches Panel Rankings and the first RPI Rankings this week; and a half dozen Hoosiers can be found in the top-33 (the amount of wrestlers to advance to the NCAA Championships in each weight class). These rankings are very important, as they are two of three barometers used to determine the number of automatic NCAA bids the conferences' receive in each weight class. Here is where the Hoosiers are slotted this week:

POWLESS CONTINUES TO ASCEND ALL-TIME WINS LIST
With his 10-7 decision over Purdue's A.J. Kissel last week, Matt Powless moved into seventh place all-time in career wins at Indiana University with 116 career victories. By the time Sunday comes to an end, he could potentially pull even with volunteer coach Brandon Becker for sixth-best in Hoosier lore (119 wins).
GOLDMAN REACHES COACHING MILESTONE
With Indiana's 30-8 victory over South Dakota State on Feb. 3, Duane Goldman, the Hoosiers' all-time winningest coach, captured the 250th win of his coaching career. He enters the weekend with a coaching mark of 251-134-5 (.650).
