Details Announced for Evansville Tailgate Tour Stop

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The IU Varsity Club has released additional details for the fourth Tailgate Tour stop in Evansville, Ind., on June 4. The Evansville event will feature head football coach Kevin Wilson and IU Director of Athletics Fred Glass. The emcee will be legendary sportscaster and "Voice of the Hoosiers," Don Fischer.
A few tickets still remain for the golf outing. Hoosier fans can also purchase luncheon-only tickets. The Evansville luncheon will occur on Monday, June 4th at noon C.T. at The Oaks (11505 Browning Road, Evansville, IN 47725) and will feature remarks from Wilson and Glass. Guests will also have an opportunity to purchase 2012 football season tickets at the event. The golf outing will follow the luncheon.
Advanced luncheon tickets are available for $20. Tickets for the golf outing, which includes the luncheon, are $100. Guests are asked to register by contacting Chad Decker at (812) 483-1596 or decker@iugolfouting.com.
The Tailgate Tour is a great opportunity for Hoosier fans to support IU Athletics and learn about the success of student-athletes both on and off the field. It also allows IU's head coaches to provide insights on the 2012-2013 athletic seasons. The 2012 tour features six stops, with stops remaining in Fort Wayne, Evansville, Jeffersonville and Bloomington.
The Evansville tour stop is presented by the IU Varsity Club; IU Alumni Association; I Association; and the Greater Evansville Chapter of the IU Alumni Association. The 2012 Tailgate Tour is sponsored by Smithville and Visit Bloomington.
