Keystone Classic Up Next for Cream and Crimson

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana University wrestling team visits the city of Brotherly Love this weekend to clash in the 2013 Keystone Classic, hosted by the University of Pennsylvania inside Philadelphia's historic arena, The Palestra.
Wrestling begins at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 24 and runs deeps into the evening. Here is the tentative tournament schedule:
10 a.m. - Championship first round (pigtails)
10:20 a.m. - Championship second round
12:30 p.m. - Championship quarterfinals/consolation first round
2 p.m. - Consolation second round
3 p.m. - Championship semifinals/consolation third round
4:30 p.m. - Consolation fourth round
5:15 p.m. - Consolation semifinals
6 p.m. - Finals, 3rd-place, 5th-place matches

At least a dozen schools are scheduled to compete. A list that includes: American, Appalachian State, Arizona State, #21 Bloomsburg, Boston University, Campbell, Harvard, Indiana, #18 Northwestern, Penn, #13 Pittsburgh and #22 Rider.
Up to 54 projected NCAA Qualifiers (according to current national rankings) are slated to take the field, an average of nearly five and a half potential national qualifiers in each weight class.

Hoosier heavyweight Adam Chalfant looks to repeat at the Keystone Classic, winnng four straight bouts to take the title at last year's event.

Four Hoosiers are ranked amongst the country's elite this week:
#6 Adam Chalfant (285 lbs)
#8 Taylor Walsh (157 lbs)
#12 Luke Sheridan (184 lbs)
#18 Ryan LeBlanc (165 lbs)
WALSH KNOCKING ON THE DOOR
Redshirt junior Taylor Walsh is on the cusp of breaking into Indiana's all-time top-10 for career pins, just two falls shy of earning a share for ninth-most in school history. He has accumulated eight pins through his first 11 bouts this season, running his career total to 29. Paul Young (2008-11) and Trevor Perry (2007-10) are slotted ninth all-time with 31 falls each.
