BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- It's been a beautiful fall in Bloomington and Hoosier athletes have been working hard on the field and in the classroom. We're proud to share some recent Hoosier Highlights with you -- our most dedicated fans!
- IU Men's Soccer is ranked #1 or #2 in two leading polls with a 10-2-3 overall record and a 5-1-2 record against ranked opponents.
- Women's Soccer defeated Purdue for the third straight season to keep the Golden Boot Trophy.
- Men's Swimming and Diving defeated SEC powerhouse Auburn in a dual meet earlier this month and look to be solidly ranked in the nation's top 10 when the first poll is released this week. In the first poll of the season, Women's Swimming and Diving is ranked 20th in the country.
- Field Hockey got off to the best start in school history with seven wins to start their season.
- Tevin Coleman leads the nation in rushing yards with 1,192. Indiana's junior running back, on watch lists for the Doak Walker Award (nation's top running back) and the Maxwell Award (nation's top offensive player), has been one of the country's most impressive players this season. - Women's Tennis player Sarah Baron won the singles title of the Hoosier Classic.
- Football won the school's first road game against a ranked opponent since 1987 when the Hoosiers toppled Missouri (31-27) on September 20.
