Preview: Indiana at Wisconsin

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - This Thursday, December 11, the Hoosier wrestlers will travel to Madison, Wisconsin to take on Big Ten Conference foes Wisconsin for the first dual match of the 2014-15 season. The Badgers bring a number 19 dual meet ranking (InterMat) and five wrestlers ranked in the top 20 of their weight class to the match-up. Indiana's number three ranked Taylor Walsh will put his 14-1 record up against number seven ranked Isaac Jordan in the 165-pound bout. The match will be streamed live on BTN Plus, which can be accessed through BTN2Go.com.

WISCONSIN SERIES
IU and Wisconsin have met 55 times in their history, the first match coming in 1950. Wisconsin leads the series 31-24 and has won the past seven straight.
NATIONALLY-RANKED HOOSIERS
Two Hoosiers are ranked amongst the country's elite this week:
#3 Taylor Walsh (165 lbs)
#16/19 Nate Jackson (174 lbs)
PIN KING
Redshirt senior Taylor Walsh is continuting his impressive pinning ways. After leading the country last season with 26 pins, Walsh is already well on his way with 11 pins this season. That brings his career total ro 58, which is the most in IU history.
This season Walsh became Indiana's all-time pin leader. At the end of the 2013-14 season, Walsh was tied with Viktor Sveda (1999-2002) with 47 pins. In his first bout of this season, Walsh captured the record and is only expanding his lead in the record books.
