AKRON, Ohio - Indiana's Garret Goldman and Luke Sheridan both produced strong showings at the University Nationals in Akron, Ohio, on May 22-25. The event featured hundreds of wrestlers from colleges, universities and clubs across the country in freestyle and Greco Roman wrestling.

The champions in each weight class earned a spot at the University World Championships later in the year.

Sheridan came in third place by fall over Terrence Zaleski (YES Wrestling) in Greco Roman at 86 kilos and finished second in freestyle at 97 kilos. Sheridan will be senior for the Hoosiers during the 2014-15 season.

Goldman claimed seventh place at 98 kilos in Greco Roman, defeating Chris Rowland (Southern Hawks) by tech fall, 10-1. Goldman will be a redshirt junior for the Hoosiers next season.
