Hoosiers Host Louisville on Tuesday Night

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana University men's soccer team will host the Louisville Cardinals at Jerry Yeagley Field at Bill Armstrong Stadium on Tuesday night in Bloomington, Ind.
The match is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. ET start and will be broadcast live on BTN Plus.

SETTING THE SCENE
• Indiana enters Tuesday's match with the Louisville Cardinals on short rest after traveling to College Park, Md. on Friday, where IU played the No. 18 Maryland Terrapins to a 0-0 draw.
• The match was very well played, with both teams having their opportunities to earn a victory.
• Hoosier goalkeeper Colin Webb made a season-high six saves en route to posting his Big Ten-leading sixth shutout of the year.

• Femi Hollinger-Janzen was named one of 30 candidates for the Senior CLASS Award. From the list of 30 candidates, a national media committee will select ten finalists for the 2015 Senior CLASS Award in October.
• Indiana sports one of the nation's youngest rosters in 2015 with 20 underclassmen on the team. The Hoosiers are tied for the ninth-youngest team in the country and rank as the youngest squad in the Big Ten.
• Despite the youth, Indiana returns 21 players from last year's roster, including 19 letterwinners from a year ago.
SCOUTING THE CARDINALS
• The Louisville Cardinals come to Bloomington with an overall record of 6-5-3 on the season.
• Louisville has posted some impressive results this season with victories over No. 15 Kentucky and No. 19 Boston College last Friday. The Cardinals also tied No. 22 NC State.
• Louisville has won its last two matches coming in to Tuesday's contest after dropping three in a row prior.
• Before the season, the Cardinals were picked to win the Atlantic Division of the ACC in a preseason poll conducted of the league's coaches.
• Louisville also garnered a pair of votes to be the ACC overall champion, second only to Virginia who had four votes.
SERIES HISTORY
• In the overall series between the two teams dating back to the 1981 season, the Hoosiers hold a record of 17-4-1 over the Cardinals.
• The series has been close as of late, with no team winning back-to-back matches since Indiana won 14-straight games to start the series.
• Last season, the Hoosiers traveled to Louisville came away with a 3-0 victory over the Cardinals.
• Grant Lillard scored the game-winning goal on a header in the 37th minute for Indiana.

GUTJAHR CALLED UP TO U.S. U-20 NATIONAL TEAM
• Jeremiah Gutjahr was called up to the U.S. Under-20 National Team to participate in the Four Nations Tournament in Stuttgart, Germany.
• Gutjahr started for the United States in their matches against Scotland on Oct. 9 and Mexico on Oct. 12.
INDIANA IN THE RPI RANKINGS
• In the latest RPI rankings released by the NCAA on Monday, the Indiana Hoosiers are ranked No. 35 in the country – up two spots from last week.
• Indiana is the third-highest ranked Big Ten team in the RPI this week behind just Ohio State (No. 15) and Maryland (No. 24).
• In total, there are four Big Ten teams ranked in the top-40 of the RPI this week and eight in the top-75.
HOOSIERS IN THE NATIONAL RANKINGS
• In the NCAA rankings released on Monday, Indiana ranks fourth in the nation in shots per game (17.77), 30th in shutout percentage (0.46) and 37th in team goals against average (0.86)
• Individually, Tanner Thomson ranks 20th in total assists (6) and 25t in assists per game (0.46).
• Colin Webb ranks 32nd in goalie minutes played (1250:28) and 42nd in goals against average (0.864).
• Femi Hollinger-Janzen ranks 24th in the country in shots per game (3.54) and 46th in total goals (6).
IU IN THE BIG TEN RANKINGS
• In the Big Ten statistics released on Monday, IU ranks second in shots (231), fourth in goals (19), fourth in points (56) and fourth in assists (18).
• Individually, Colin Webb is tied for the league lead in shutouts with six, while Tanner Thompson is tied for the lead in assists with six.
• Femi Hollinger-Janzen is tied for third in the conference with six goals and ranks second in the league in shots with 46.
FEMI ON FIRE
• Femi Hollinger-Janzen is as hot as they come, scoring six goals over the course of the last 10 matches for the Hoosiers.
• The senior has five goals in his last eight matches after scoring twice in IU's 3-0 win over Evansville on Sept. 23 and once in the team's win over IUPUI on Oct. 7.
