Chevalier's Final Round 70 Leads IU at Cardinal Cup

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – At the completion of the Cardinal Cup at the UofL Golf Club, the Indiana women's golf team finished in 13^th place with a team score of 923 (314-309-300).

Senior Camille Chevalier paced the Hoosiers with her career best round, and tied for the lowest third round score of the tournament, with a 2-under par 70. She finished the tournament atop the IU leaderboard, and tied for 23^rd overall, with a 226 (80-76-70).

Freshman Eva Domingo came in tied for 52^nd and six strokes behind Cavalier. Domingo shot 77 to end her week at 232 (76-77-79). Junior Ana Sanjuan scored her best round of the tournament to land tied with Domingo for 52^nd with a 232 (80-77-75).

Freshman Erin Harper matched her first round 78 to bring her total to 238 (78-82-78). She finished tied for 67^th. Coming in at 70^th is sophomore Pear Siriko with a 240 (81-77-82).

Finishing in a tie for 79^th with a score of 249 (85-81-83) was senior Maria Mancini.

The Hoosiers will be back in action early next week as they travel out west for the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown.
