BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- No. 22 Indiana continues the 2015 season at the First Pitch Invitational, Feb. 20-22, in Greenville, S.C. After opening the season with a 2-1 start at No. 18 Stanford last weekend, the Hoosiers take on Presbyterian College on Friday (Noon ET), Furman on Saturday (5 p.m.) and Xavier on Sunday (11 a.m.). Games will be played at Fluor Field, home of the Greenville Drive, the a Class A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox.
**SATURDAY CHANGE**
Indiana's game on Saturday vs. Furman will now be played at 4 p.m. ET at Latham Stadium on the campus of Furman University. The teams were originally scheduled to play at
5 p.m. at Fluor Field. All schedule changes will first be posted on Twitter (@HoosierBaseball) and IUHoosiers.com immediately.
A LOOK BACK
••• IU won Game One, 4-2, and Game Two (10 innings), 4-3, with Scott Effross and Thomas Belcher picking up wins. Ryan Halstead returned from a 2014 knee injury and earned saves in both wins, extending his IU career record to 25.
••• Stanford won Game Three, 4-3, scoring two runs in the bottom of the seventh to win it after IU took a 3-2 lead in the top of the frame.
••• In the past six meetings with Stanford dating back to last year's NCAA Regional, the teams have split wins (3-3), have each scored 26 runs and have seen winning runs in the fifth, ninth, ninth, seventh, 10th and seventh innings.
••• The Hoosiers started 2-0 for the first time since 2005, when they won their first three and five of their first six.
TAKING NOTICE
••• Indiana wasn't listed in any national preseason poll, but the Hoosiers found themselves ranked 22nd by Collegiate Baseball and 29th by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association on Monday, Feb. 16, after their opening weekend performance. IU also received votes in the Coaches Poll and the D1Baseball.com Top 25.
