Hoosiers Wrap Up Play at Mason Rudolph

FRANKLIN, Tenn. -- In the final round of the Mason Rudolph Championship at the Vanderbilt Legends Club, the Indiana men's golf team's score of 308 gave them a total team score of 916 and 14th place for the tournament.
Max Kollin, a junior from Farmington Hills, Michigan, led IU for the tournament, finishing in a tie for 51st place individually. He carded a final round score of 77 to finish the tournament with a total score of 228 (+15).
Sophomore Keegan Vea posted his best round of the tournament on Sunday, registering a 3-over par score of 74 to give him a total score of 229 (+16). Vea had four birdies on the day to lead the Hoosiers in that department and played the final 13 holes in 1-under par.
The only freshman in the lineup for the Hoosiers closed with a score of 79 on Sunday, pushing his three-round score to 231 (+18) and a tie for 65th place.
Senior Nicholas Grubnich's final round score of 4-over par 75 was his best of the tournament. He closed the weekend at 21-over par (234), which gave him a tie for 68th position on the individual leaderboard.
The fifth player competing for IU was sophomore Will Seger, whose score of 82 on Sunday gave him a total score of 237 (+24) over the three rounds.
Next up on the schedule for the Hoosiers is the lone home tournament of the season - the NYX Hoosier Invitational. The tournament takes place April 11-12 at the IU Championship Golf Course in Bloomington.
