No. 10 Hoosiers Head to No. 3 Louisville on Tuesday Night

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The No. 10-ranked Indiana University men's soccer team will head south to face the No. 3-ranked Louisville Cardinals on Tuesday night at Lynn Stadium.

Kickoff in Louisville is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET on Tuesday night, with the match being broadcast live on WatchESPN by ACC Network Extra. Live stats for the match can be found at IUHoosiers.com.

SETTING THE SCENE
• The No. 10-ranked Indiana Hoosiers enter Tuesday's match with the Louisville Cardinals with an overall record of 7-1-4 on the season after beating Penn State, 1-0, on Saturday night.
• MF Tanner Thompson and F Richard Ballard lead the Hoosiers' offense, with each accounting for a team-high 13 points on the strength of four goals and two assists on the season apiece.
• In goal, Colin Webb has posted seven shutouts on the season for IU - tops in the Big Ten.
• IU's unbeaten 10-game streak (6-0-4) to start the season was the first for the program since 1997 and was the ninth-best start in team history.
• The Hoosiers come in to the 2016 season coming off another terrific season in 2015, reaching the NCAA Tournament for a record 29-straight season and 40th overall in program history.

• The Louisville Cardinals enter Tuesday's match with the Hoosiers with an overall record of 9-1-2 on the season, including a 6-0-1 mark at home at Lynn Stadium.
• Louisville is undefeated in the team's last eight matches, posting a record of 7-0-1, winning their last two games.
• Against ranked teams this season, Louisville has posted a record of 4-1-0 on the year, recording wins over then-ranked No. 14 UConn, No. 1 Notre Dame, No. 16 Virginia and No. 3 Syracuse last Friday.
• Louisville's lone loss this season came on September 6, falling 1-0 to rival and then No. 16-ranked Kentucky.

• Indiana has won two-straight over Louisville, including a 2-1 win last season in Bloomington. In 2014, IU took down the Cardinals, 3-0, in Louisville.
• Overall, Indiana is 7-2-1 against the Cardinals in Louisville. IU has outscored UL, 64-18, in the overall series.
