The Hoosiers concluded the first day of the IU Regional and the ITA Regional Championships in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
At the ITA Regional Championships, sophomore Madison Appel won her opening match, 7-5, 6-4 over Peyton Robinette over Vanderbilt.
Appel teamed with senior Kim Schmider in the doubles competition. The duo beat Sediri/Pereira of MTSU 8-4 in their first round match and beat Candeloro/Potter from UT Martin, 8-6 in the next round.
The Hoosiers will continue play in both tourmaents tomorrow.
