Hoosiers Host Senior Night, No. 1 Nebraska

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana volleyball team will honor its senior class and host No. 1 Nebraska on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. at University Gym.
The Indiana senior class includes Megan Tallman, Taylor Lebo, Jazzmine McDonald, Allison Hammond and Mallory Waggoner.
"They are a great class," IU head coach Sherry Dunbar-Kruzan said of the senior class. "They came in with a mission to make the program go forward and I think they have in many ways. I think towards the end of the season you can see them playing like seniors and acting like seniors and I think that is a really good thing. I have enjoyed being around them. They each bring a unique perspective and personality that has been very fun."
The Hoosiers will hold a special senior recognition after the match on Saturday against Nebraska.
Records and Milestones
After missing six matches due to injury, senior setter Megan Tallman made her return to the court on Friday Oct. 28 against Michigan State. In the match Tallman set a new IU school record for career assists in the rally-scoring era. Tallman currently has 3,587 assists, which is 20th among active players in the NCAA and second among active players in the Big Ten.
Senior Taylor Lebo recently passed 1,000 career digs and currently has 1,094 digs, which puts her eighth on the Hoosiers all-time list for career digs. Against Minnesota Lebo recorded an ace to set the Hoosiers school record for career aces in the rally scoring era with 128.
Final Home Match
The Hoosiers will host Purdue on Wednesday Nov. 16 for their final home match of the 2016 regular season. The match will be a White Out, so fans are encouraged to wear white.
