Hoosiers and Wolverines Battle Wednesday on BTN

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – With two wins over ranked opponents in a week span the Indiana volleyball teams looks to continue to build on that momentum and they take on Michigan in Ann Arbor on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. The match will be nationally televised on the Big Ten Network.
The Win vs. No. 22 Ohio State
On Saturday Nov. 5 at University Gym the Hoosiers knocked off No. 22 Ohio State in four sets. It was the Hoosiers first win against the Buckeyes since Oct. 8, 2010. Senior Jazzmine McDonald led the Hoosiers with 13 kills on 18 attempts, her third consecutive match with double-digit kills. McDonald is hitting .656 with 41 kills on 58 swings over her last three matches.
A Look Back at Win Over Wolverines
The Hoosiers picked up a key win on Saturday Oct. 29 in four sets over No. 13 Michigan. The Hoosiers came out on fire in the first set as they hit .500 and won the opening set, 25-14. Senior Jazzmine McDonald led the Hoosiers with a career-high 15 kills and 10 blocks and hit .700 in the match. Redshirt freshman Kendall Beerman added 14 kills and hit .440 for the match.
Records and Milestones
After missing six matches due to injury, senior setter Megan Tallman made her return to the court on Friday Oct. 28 against Michigan State. In the match Tallman set a new IU school record for career assists in the rally-scoring era. Tallman currently has 3,571 assists, which is 20th among active players in the NCAA and second among active players in the Big Ten.
Senior Taylor Lebo recently passed 1,000 career digs and currently has 1,085 digs, which put her eighth on the Hoosiers all-time list for career digs. Against Minnesota Lebo recorded an ace to set the Hoosiers school record for career aces in the rally scoring era with 128.
Back Home Again in Indiana
The Hoosiers will be back at home on Saturday Nov. 12 for a match against No. 1 Nebraska at 7:00 p.m. The Hoosiers will celebrate senior night and honor their five seniors on the team. It will also be Holidays with the Hoosiers, as the team will collect toys to be donated in the community.

The match against Michigan on Wednesday will be televised live on the Big Ten Network. The voice of IU volleyball, Lucas Corley, will have a radio broadcast of the match as well starting at 6:45 p.m. with the prematch show.
