Hoosiers Fall at No. 17 Michigan

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Senior Jazzmine McDonald led the Hoosiers with 11 kills but the Hoosiers fell in three sets (25-17, 25-22, 25-22) at No. 17 Michigan on Wednesday.
For McDonald it was her fourth straight match to reach double-figures in kills. McDonald hit .368 for the match and added three blocks.
Freshman middle blocker Deyshia Lofton added eight kills and senior libero Taylor Lebo tallied nine digs in the match.
After falling behind 2-0 in the match the Hoosiers (16-12, 5-10) got out to an 8-5 lead in the third set.
The Hoosiers led 19-17 on a kill from McDonald, but Michigan (21-6, 10-5) came back to tie the set, 19-19.
The Hoosiers went ahead 20-19 on a kill from sophomore Jessica Admire, but that is the last time they led as Michigan scored six of the final eight points to win the set and the match.
Up next the Hoosiers host senior night on Saturday Nov. 12 as they host No. 1 Nebraska at 7:00 p.m.
