Dameon Willis: Junior, Football, Sports Media Major
"Dameon has really come into his own academically over the course of the last year and the fruits of his labor have begun to surface. He has always taken pride in everything he does but his determination to succeed academically has intensified now that he has found his niche in the Media School. Despite being enrolled in a very challenging combination of courses, he is having his best semester. Dameon uses his time away from athletics wisely and has become committed to doing his very best on every assignment. I believe he is well on his way to not only his highest semester GPA, but I can tell he is getting closer to understanding what he is passionate about doing in the future." -Dustin Swanson, Director of Academic Services
Kaybree Albright: Sophomore, Water Polo, Media Major
"Kaybree had a great deal of opposition adjusting and making the transition through the first year of her collegiate experience. Since the conclusion of the spring semester, Kaybree has been in overdrive mode and has done a complete 180 degrees. By putting forth the necessary hard work and dedication throughout the summer and fall semesters, Kaybree has the opportunity to parlay her academic progress and go from a rough transition to reaching above and beyond the academic standard.
