• Indiana University is ranked #21 in the USA Today Coaches Poll and #22 by AP and will play Minnesota for the second time in two weeks on Saturday. The Hoosiers are coming off a 74-68 win at home against Minnesota. IU is third in the country in points per possession at 1.179.

OFFENSIVE RARITY
• IU is seventh in the nation in scoring (85.2) and third in field goal percentage (51.7%) and three-point field goal percentage (43.2%). Similar numbers (85 points or more, 50.0% shooting or more and 40% shooting or more from three-point range) have been posted only once in the last 20 years in college basketball when Kansas in 01-02 averaged 90.9 points on 50.6% shooting from the field and 41.7% from 3FG range.

• Tom Crean is in his eighth year of leading the Hoosiers. Over the last four+ years, IU is 111-49 and leads the Big Ten with 19 regular season wins over ranked opponents during that time. YOGI UP FOR OSCAR ROBERTSON AWARD
• Senior Kevin "Yogi" Ferrell is one of 20 finalists for the Oscar Robertson Award presented to the National Player of the Year by the USBWA. He was also named one of 10 finalists for the Cousy Award, given to the nation's top point guard.
He tied a career-high with 30 points against Wisconsin and is now seventh on the IU all-time scoring list with 1,763 points. He also recently became the school's all-time assist leader at 563.
He enters his final conference season as the Big Ten's active leader in scoring, assists , three-point field goals made (241) and is the only senior in the league to have started every game he has played (123).
AGAINST THE WOLVERINES
• Four of the last seven meetings have come down to the final possession including last year's 70-67 win for the Hoosiers in Assembly Hall. Similarly, a late three-pointer by Glenn Robinson broke a tie in the final minute in the Hoosiers last visit to Crisler Arena in 2014 and a Cody Zeller layup and stop at the end gave IU its 2013 Big Ten title in Ann Arbor.

He is one of two active players in the country to have at least 1,550 career points (1,763), 500 assists (563) and 350 rebounds (399) (other is Juan'ya Green, Hofstra). He was named second team Preseason All-American by The Sporting News and USA Today, in addition to garnering third team honors from Athlon Sports and fourth team mention in Blue Ribbon Magazine. For the season, he is averaging 17.5 points (4th in Big Ten), 4.3 rebounds and 5.7 assists (4th in Big Ten). He is averaging 16.2 points in five career games against the Wolverines.

• The Hoosiers have notched 50 percent or better shooting in 28 out of 44 halves played so far this season.
• Senior graduate transfer Max Bielfeldt graduated last year from Michigan with a degree in sports management and chose to spend his final season of eligibility at Indiana. He has been a huge pickup for the Hoosiers, averaging 8.1 points and 4.6 rebounds. He is fifth in the league in field goal percentage at 58.2. He had 16 points, eight rebounds, two blocks and three steals against Illinois. He also added 13 points and four rebounds against Northwestern. His best day as a collegian came earlier this season at Rutgers, when he recorded 18 points, 14 rebounds, two assists and two steals off the bench. He also has hit 44.4% of his 3-point field goal attempts (12-of-27). He averaged 5.1 points and 3.6 boards for the Wolverines last year.
• Sophomore Robert Johnson is ninth in the Big Ten in three-point field goal percentage, making 44.3% of his shots. He forced a game-winning steal in the final seconds at home against Wisconsin and had 13 points, seven rebounds and six assists against Illinois. He added nine points against Northwestern.
• Senior Nick Zeisloft is second on the team in 3-point field goals with 39 made. He hit 5-of-8 long distance shots and finished with 15 points at Minnesota. He is shooting 39.4 from long range this season.
• Freshman Thomas Bryant is a two-time Big Ten Freshman of the Week honoree. He is coming off a career-high 23 points against Minnesota. He had his first career double-double with 19 points and 13 rebounds against OSU. He leads the Big Ten in field goal shooting, making 72.8% of his shot attempts. He had 19 points, four rebounds and three blocked shots at Nebraska and also had 10 points at Minnesota.
• Junior forward Troy Williams had 21 points and five assists with no turnovers against Illinois. He matched his career-high with 23 points against Ohio State. Against Michigan, he is averaging 12.3 points and is shooting 73.7 from the field in three games.
• Junior Collin Hartman has moved into the starting lineup with Blackmon's injury. He had 11 points against Northwestern. He is averaging 5.9 points, 2.8 rebounds, and is shooting 50.0 from the field and 47.8 from long distance since moving into the starting lineup. Over the last two years, he has shot 44.0 from three-point range.
• Freshman OG Anunoby is averaging 6.8 points and 3.2 rebounds in Big Ten games. He scored a career-high 11 points against Nebraska and Wisconsin. He has shot 61.8 from the field and made 7-of-14 3-point field goal attempts. He is fourth in Big Ten games in steals at 1.5 per game.
• Freshman Juwan Morgan had a season-high seven points in the win over Northwestern. He has made 6-of-8 field goal attempts in conference play and is averaging 1.9 points and 2.2 rebounds.
• Junior walk-on Ryan Burton played 10 minutes against Rutgers and scored a career-high six points on a pair of 3-point field goals. He also hit a 3-pointer against Northwestern.
• With Blackmon out, the Hoosiers have turned to freshman walk-on Harrison Niego who has seen 23 minutes of action in Big Ten play and hit a 3-pointer while also coming away with four steals.
• Crean announced the addition of Jackson Tharp to the 2015-16 roster, effective immediately. Tharp has been an undergraduate manager at IU since the 2012 after playing at Zionsville High School. He earned All-Hoosier Crossroads Conference honors as a junior and senior at Zionsville. He is 6-4, 205, and will wear #24. He had an assist in his first game against Illinois.
